ATHENS, GREECE – June 01, 2012 – Seeking opportunities for businesses and foreign investors, CCI-Worldwide president Arshia Tayyab spent a few days in Greece to attend the 2012 Global Summit of Women. She was joined by female executives from many countries. While the summit did deal with issues related to Greece’s ongoing economic crisis, the news was not all negative. “As CEO of a woman-owned business, it was amazing to see women from all over the world in Greece, seeking to grow their businesses. Despite the rumors in media about Greece, it appears that there are plenty of opportunities,“ according to Tayyab.
Another attendee and Assistant General Counsel with Libra Capital in New York, Niovi Christopoulou, said to the Greek Reporter, “Crises offer opportunities and smart investors move in,” she said, “although this crisis is scary indeed.”
